1980s "Duplex" Stool

Playful stool in primary colours with an eighties pedigree. Spanish artist Javier Mariscal (b. 1950) first created it for the Duplex Bar in Valencia in 1980, and it was commercialized the following year. Its cartoony lines give it a lively energy. An angled white circle connects the three colours with a jaunty flourish.
