Alzata Centerpiece, Bordeaux

Designed by Ettore Sottsass for Bitossi in 1962, this stepped riser pairs bold geometry with vivid contrast. Made in white clay with a cast base and a modine-formed top, it is finished in matte green enamel inside and burgundy red with oxidized copper outside.

All Bitossi ceramics are entirely handmade by artisans at every stage of the production process.
